QUATATIONS FROM AN AUTHOR CALLED PAULO COELHO.
-The roller-coaster is my life;
life is fast, dizzying game;
life is a parachute jump;
it's taking chances, falling over
and getting up again;
its montaineering;
it's wanting to get to the very top of yourself
and feeling angry and dissatisfied
when you dont manage it.
(Eleven Minutes)
-Waiting hurts. Forgetting hurts.
But not knowing which decision to take
is the worst of sufferings.
(By the River Piedra I sat down and Wept)
-Everyday, God gives us, as well as the sunm
a moment when it is possible to change anything
that is causing us unhappiness.
the magic moment is the moment when
a ' yes' or a 'no' can change our whole existence.
Everyday, we try to pretend that we do not see
that moment, that it does not exist.
that today is the same as yesterday
and that tomorrow will be the same too.
However, anyone who pays close attention to
his day will discover the magic moment.
It might be hidden in the instanr
that we put the key in the door in the morning,
in the moment of silence after supper,
in the thousand and one things
that appears to us to be the same.
this moment exist, a moment in which
all the strength of the stars flows though us
and allows us to perform miracles.
(By the river peirdra i sat down and wept)
- The warrier knows that in all languages the most
important words are the small words.
YES. LOVE. GOD.
They are words that are easy enough to say,
yet vast empty spaces.
